One person has died after a motorcycle crash in near Kaiwaka in Northland.

Emergency services were called to the crash, located on Kaiwaka-Mangawhai Rd, shortly before 12.30pm today.

A police spokesperson said one person had died at the scene.

Diversions are in place and the Serious Crash Unit are attending the scene, police say.
