A person is in a critical condition after falling off their scooter and hitting their head while out riding on Waiheke Island.
The incident happened just after 2.15pm on Moa Ave in Oneroa.
The injured person was rushed to Auckland Hospital by Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter, a St John ambulance
spokeswoman said.
