Save One person is in a serious condition in hospital after an apparent chemical leak at an Auckland factory.
The leak was reported at 2pm at a factory that makes glue on Lady Ruby Drive in East Tamaki.
A Fire Service spokesman said the person reportedly inhaled ammonia.
He said a
fire crew at the scene used specialised equipment to assess whether there were any chemicals remaining in the air at the site.
They found there was no remaining risk.
