One person seriously injured in two-car crash

Save One person is in a serious condition in Middlemore Hospital in Auckland after two cars collided in Kawakawa Bay earlier this morning.
The crash happened about 8.30am, on the Kawakawa-Orere Road, about 5km from the bay.
The person, of unknown age and gender, was transported to Middlemore with serious injuries
to the chest.
Another person suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Police and ambulance services have been at the scene, but no further details have been released at this stage.
