One person flown to hospital after 'fire incident' in Hautere, Kāpiti

One person has been flown to Hutt Hospital in a serious condition after a fire incident on the Kāpiti Coast.

Paramedics were called to an address on Otaki Gorge Rd, Hautere shortly after midday.

A spokesperson said they sent multiple resources, including a helicopter from Wellington.

Fire and Emergency said they assisted ambulance staff.

Police also attended.
