On-bail property developer bashed 

Police were today due to interview property developer Mark Lyon after he was found by ambulance staff semi-conscious at a property in Manukau.

His lawyer, Barry Hart, confirmed Lyon had suffered a beating at the south Auckland property yesterday. He had been bailed to the property on firearms and drug offences.

Police said a man was taken from a Flat Bush address to hospital suffering facial injuries and a head injury consistent with a fall. He was in a stable condition.

People were visiting the address at the time of the attack, they said.
