A Rotorua family is asking the community to keep their eyes open for their missing pop.

A Hokianga man is facing a fine of up to $250,000 and the forfeiture of his ute, trailer and quad bike after he allegedly drove off into the bush when fisheries officers tried to stop him.

Vandals have again struck Masterton's new town square squirting pink dye into the fountain - but this time their actions have been caught on camera.
