File photo Countdown is assuring customers its Christchurch stores are open and safe, after earlier reports of damage and injury turned out to be false.A Christchurch man claimed on Sunday that a woman had a heart attack and the roof collapsed at Countdown Eastgate during Sunday's magnitude 5.7 quake. However, he has since retracted the claims, saying they were not true.
