Nine-year-old girl hit by car in Auckland

A nine-year-old girl has been taken to Starship hospital after being hit by a car in Auckland this afternoon.
A St John spokeswoman said the girl was hit on Fowlds Ave in Sandringham.
An ambulance was called about 3.20pm, she said.
The girl had moderate injuries and was transported to
Starship.
An Auckland District Health Board spokesman said the girl was in a stable condition.
