Nik hangs on

We haven't seen the last of Masterton NZ Idol contestant Nik Carlson just yet.
The 26-year-old passed safely through to the next round of the popular television show on Monday night after avoiding the notorious "bottom three" for the second week in a row.
On Sunday night's show he impressed all three judges with his interpretation of The Darkness song, I Believe in a Thing Called Love. He even got the seal of approval from judge Frankie Stevens who has so far proved difficult to please.
Frank Andrews, 20, from Rotorua was the contestant who headed home this week.
Nik and the other five contestants still remaining on the show will fight it out during a "soul special" on Sunday.
