Powell's daughter pulls out of play

The actress daughter of US Secretary of State Colin Powell has pulled out of a London theatre production because of security concerns.

Linda Powell, 35, was to appear next month in Jitney, a play about a Pittsburgh taxi company, but decided to stay in the United States to be closer to her family.

The National Theatre says it is disappointed by Powell's withdrawal but understands her decision.
