Stolen laser could maim

A powerful laser machine has been stolen from a Rotorua tattoo shop.

Thought to be the only one of its type in New Zealand, the $190,000 machine is used for tattoo and birthmark removal.

People who use it carelessly can damage their eyesight, electrocute themselves or burn and scar the skin.
