A person has been taken to hospital with critical injuries following a crash involving a pedestrian in East Auckland.
Emergency services rushed to Stonedon Dr in East Tāmaki just after 8am and are still at the scene.
Cordons are in place on Cryers Rd and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
