A wild goose chase has ended happily after the stray bird ended up on Auckland's Harbour Bridge amid commuter traffic.
The NZ Transport Agency said the goose had temporarily blocked lane 3 of the five citybound lanes on the bridge.
All lanes are now clear and the goose has safelybeen removed, the NZTA tweeted at 6.25am.
Drivers were warned to allow a little extra time this morning.
