One person has died following a single-vehicle crash in Central Hawke's Bay on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 2.35pm on Tod Rd between the intersections of Elsthorpe Rd and Evans Rd.
This evening Police confirmed the fatality, in a statement.
A spokeswoman said the ute had gone off the road and rolled.
At the time of the crash, police confirmed there were two occupants injured with one in an unknown state and another in a minor to moderate condition.
Three ambulances are believed to have attended.
A Hawke's Bay District Health Board spokeswoman confirmed no one had come to the emergency department from the crash.
As of this evening, diversions were still in place at the intersections of Tod Rd and Elsthorphe Rd, and at Tod Rd and Evan Rd.
The Serious Crash Unit is in attendance and Police will investigate the crash.
