A pregnant pedestrian was hit by a ute in Hastings this morning.
Police said the woman was reportedly hit in a loading zone on Warren St about 10.15am.
It's understood the woman was walking in the loading zone when the ute pulled into it. "The driver then got agitated and has driven away. The pregnant woman has gone to the doctors for a check," a police spokesperson said.
Just before 2pm today the spokesperson said inquiries had identified the offending driver and they intended to follow up on the matter with that individual.
