Police searching for missing Marlborough man

Blenheim police are trying to find a local man who has been missing for a week.

Bert James Kuiti, 38, was last seen last Thursday driving a green Holden Vectra car.

The vehicle has since been located, crashed on Maungatapu Rd in Pelorus.

Payne's family reported him missing and had expressed concerns for his safety.

Senior Sergeant Peter Payne of the Blenheim police was appealing for any relevant information.

Police patrols had been advised and inquiries were being made.
