It's a long, slow run on Auckland's Northwestern motorway this morning with queues starting at Hobsonville.
The New Zealand Transport Agency said traffic heading into the city was heavy on the 20km stretch and motorists should expect delays from as far back as Hobsonsville.

Motorists were also warned to driveto wet weather conditions.
The woes have continued across the motorway network with a crash blocking a northbound lane on the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
