Greens announce candidate for Christchurch East by-election

The Green Party today announced David Moorhouse as its candidate for the Christchurch East by-election.
Mr Moorhouse, who was a candidate for Christchurch Central in 2011, is a software developer in community healthcare.
Greens co-leader Metiria Turei said Mr Moorhouse and the party would be campaigning for a "Green rebuild
of Christchurch".
Mr Moorhouse also promised to help residents work through problems with the Earthquake Commission.
Labour have selected Poto Williams as their candidate in the by-election.
