A jury in the trial of two men facing sex charges was discharged after a two-day wait because closed circuit television equipment was unavailable.
Maui Anaru, 25, and Maanu Johnstone, 33, are charged with four counts of rape and three of abducting a female over the age of 16 for sex.
Judge Keith de Ridder discharged the jury in the Whangarei District Court at 1pm yesterday after the CCTV that was used in another trial was unavailable.
The case will be called on November 30.
