The brothers of a cyclist killed in Dunedin say they are disappointed after a skip they hired to clear his flat was filled and set on fire.
Peter Wells was killed when the bicycle he was riding and a logging truck collided on State Highway 1 last week.
Derek Wells and his brother, who did not want to be named, travelled from overseas to put their sibling's affairs in order, staying at his home in the North Dunedin student quarter.
When they returned after his funeral on Saturday, the skip they had hired was three-quarters full with rubbish.
Derek Wells said when he asked three young men trying to empty more stuff into the skip, not to do so, they told him they could do what they wanted.
