Rugby World Cup 2011 is having a positive impact on New Zealand workplaces.
Nearly 50 per cent of people surveyed by recruitment company Randstad say their office is running a sweepstake.
Thirty per cent say staff celebrations are also being organised.
Randstad director Paul Robinson says a large number of businesses have decorated their workplace with flags from different countries.
"It's been a tough year, or couple of years, for people in New Zealand, especially with the number of challenges this year, and this has been a fantastic way to boost morale in offices," he says.
Mr Robinson says two thirds of respondents say Rugby World Cup 2011 related activity will only consume one working day or less.
