The New Zealand Returned and Services Association (RSA) has donated $130,000 to Christchurch following earthquakes in September and February which devastated much of the city.
National president Don McIver will hand over the money, raised by RSA's nationwide and ex-service organisations worldwide, to the Red Cross Appeal and Canterbury District RSA at a function tonight at Papanui RSA in Christchurch.
The RSA launched an appeal after the September 4 quake and raised $32,000 for the Red Cross Christchurch Earthquake Appeal, and after February's quake in which 181 people died, a further $100,000 was raised to help veterans and ex-service personnel in the Christchurch region.
