Missing man search: Police ask for help finding Andrew, 63, last seen at Greymouth Hospital

Police are searching for missing man Andrew, 63, who hasn't been seen since leaving Greymouth Hospital yesterday.

A missing man last seen leaving a hospital has diabetes and may appear confused or disoriented, police say.

Andrew, aged 63, hasn’t been seen since he left Greymouth Hospital about 1pm yesterday.

“Police are asking for the public’s help finding Andrew,” police wrote on the Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast Police Facebook page early this afternoon, without giving the missing man’s surname.

Police and the man’s family are concerned for his welfare and want to find him as soon as possible, police wrote.

“Andrew has diabetes and may appear to be confused or disorientated. While he is likely to still be in the Greymouth area, it is possible he could be trying to head to Westport or Reefton.

“If you have seen Andrew, or have any information that could help us find him, please call 111 and reference file number 260516/7648.”
