One person is being treated for possible smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at a fibreglass factory in Dunedin this afternoon.
Four fire appliances were called to the blaze at the Otago Harbourside Development Industrial Park in Ravensbourne Rd about 3.40pm, southern fire communications shift manager Andrew Norris said.
It was not clear how big the fire was or if anyone was inside the building when it broke out, he said.
Police have closed State Highway 88, the main road from Dunedin to Port Chalmers, due to smoke and fire hoses on the road.
