A West Auckland rail track was closed this morning after a train driver failed to stop at a red light at the Morningside station.
Sharon Hunter, communications manager for Auckland Regional Transport Authority, said no passengers were injured, but the driver had been stood-down.
The incident took place around 10am. Services resumed at 11.10am.
