Police won't be prosecuting anyone over a 10-bike crash on the Coromandel Peninsula which seriously injured a racing cyclist last November.
K2 Cycle Race participant Brett Burton, 43, received serious head injuries after a collision with a milk tanker on State Highway 25 near Whitianga.
Acting Waikato road policing manager Senior Sergeant Tim Anderson said the initial investigation found the driver of a utility vehicle, which had just passed the main group of cyclists, had not contributed to the crash, and that was backed up by a review.
