New Plymouth Boys’ High School has been partially evacuated after an unstable chemical was discovered.
The school posted on social media this afternoon, saying they discovered an “unstable chemical” in a science laboratory at the school campus.
“Everyone at school is safe, and there is no danger toany person on site,” headmaster Sam Moore wrote.
Moore said as a precaution the school’s board of trustees decided to close the school from 12pm.
