Mystery surrounds missing large Auckland billboard

Mystery surrounds the disappearance of a large Auckland billboard featuring a naked lady on a horse.

The six-metre Ecoya billboard on Auckland's Fanshawe Street has been the subject of several complaints, and now it's been pinched.

Ecoya Marketing Manager Donna Marris is staggered someone could make off with it.

"There must be someone who has got up there with a cherry picker of some sort to get this billboard down," she told Newstalk ZB.

"It's not an easy thing to just put over your shoulder and walk away with as well."

The billboard is an advertisement for a new body care range.
