Paul Baron has been made the country head for management, systems and technology firm PA Consulting Group. He joined the company last year and has more than 10 years of IT and business consulting experience in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.

Simon Cowles has been appointed director of human resources for coal producer and distributor Solid Energy. He heads an HR team of four which includes new appointee Jane Burns, an HR manager.

Ken Pascoe is the new general manager of security company Amourguard. His last post was as the manager of Armourguard's northern region, preceded by a role as general manager of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron.
