Central Auckland law firm Knight Coldicutt has appointed Mark Colthart as a partner. Colthart, who specialises in general commercial and civil litigation, joined the firm in December 2002 as a senior associate. He has been practising law for 10 years.
IT Consulting and implementation company Certus Consulting has appointed Steve Jenkins
as an account manager. Jenkins has more than 20 years' experience in senior account and sales management in New Zealand, Canada, Britain and the United States.
Managing director of HP New Zealand, Russell Hewitt, has resigned to take up a senior role at Vodafone Australia. Hewitt was appointed to head HP New Zealand following HP's merger with Compaq in May last year. HP services head Simon Tong will act as the interim managing director until a successor is appointed.
Australian listed software company Talent2 Works has appointed Vicki Steele as country manager New Zealand. Steele most recently worked with Concept as state manager Victoria and was previously with Oracle New Zealand.
Neil Whittaker has joined the board of Fuji Xerox New Zealand as a director and will lead the company in the role of president and chief executive officer. Whittaker joined the company 24 years ago and most recently held the position of general manager national operations.
Chris Wilkins has been appointed to the new position of St John assistant regional youth manager for the area from Cape Reinga to Mercer and Waihi. He will be based at St John's regional headquarters in Mt Wellington and his primary focus will be to promote the growth of the St John youth programme.
The appointment of Andrew Stone as CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand has been confirmed by worldwide head of the agency Kevin Roberts. Stone returns to Saatchi & Saatchi after eight years as chief executive of Generator, an agency he founded in 1995. From 1988 to 1991 he was at Saatchi & Saatchi London before coming back to New Zealand to lead Saatchi's Auckland office.
