* Geoff Mabbett has become Metrowater's chief executive. An Australian, he was last at Western Water, Melbourne.

* Geoff Lorigan is the new director of the Executive MBA programme at the University of Auckland. He is currently the associate dean, development, at the university's business school.

* Richard Reinin-Hamill has joined the Tonkin and Taylor board of directors. He is a senior engineer in the water resources group.

* Lisa Hopkins is the new event and travel director for Carlson Marketing Group. Among her past jobs is a role in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade's Apec taskforce.

* Maxine Wallis is the new business development manager for Sky City. She last worked as sales and marketing manager for the Bruce Mason Centre.
