Travel firm Flight Centre has promoted Karen Munro to retail advertising manager, responsible for all retail advertising and partnership campaigns with key suppliers. She has been with the company for just over a year and was previously in its marketing team.
Peter Wogan has joined Woosh Wireless as marketing manager. He
has worked in Britain, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand with leading IT and telco brands including BellSouth, British Telecom, Compaq, HP and Microsoft.
Recruitment agency Sheffield has made two appointments to its recruitment solutions team. Amy Tea was previously human resources manager with Fairfax Sunday Newspapers and Magazines. Sean Murphy was with Simpson Grierson and has been specialising in legal recruitment.
Sony has appointed Yasushi Asaoka as general manager of consumer marketing & customer communication marketing. Asaoka was most recently general manager, consumer marketing for Sony Malaysia.
Computer Associates New Zealand has appointed Trevor Holland as sales executive. Holland is based in Auckland and is responsible for maintaining client relationships and developing business. He has more than eight years' experience in the IT industry and was previously business development manager at Greenwood Technology.
Transtasman law firm Minter Ellison Rudd Watts has appointed Andrew Ryan as a tax partner. Ryan has expertise in the taxation of e-commerce and private equity.
