AIM Proximity has appointed Elizabeth Fulcher planning director. She will be responsible for planning marketing and communication campaigns from the Auckland office.

An MBA graduate from the University of New South Wales. Fulcher has worked as a management consultant in London, Johannesburg, Sydney and Melbourne for clients such as Barclaycard, AXA, Visa and Reuters.

Action Mental Health Society has appointed Magdel Hammond as manager of EDGE Employment. Hammond's background is in social work and human resources. She was previously a consultant with EDGE for the Rodney and Whangaparaoa area.

Recruitment company Parker Bridge has promoted Claire McMaster to team manager of the commercial accounting division in Auckland. She joined the London Parker Bridge office in 2000 and was seconded to the Auckland office two years later.

Del Birkhofer has been appointed country manager for Merial NZ. Birkhofer was previously national accounts director for Merial USA based in Atlanta. He has been with Merial for 17 years.

AppServ has appointed Derek Wilson as sales and marketing director. Wilson has returned from a three-year stint in Britain where he ran the sales operations for EDS firm Opsware.
