Motorcyclist killed in Tasman crash named as Ashburton woman

A motorcyclist killed in a crash in the Tasman District has been named as Tania Maree Anderson.

Anderson, 49, of Ashburton, died at the scene of the crash on State Highway 63, the St-Arnaud-Kawatiri Highway, just before 3pm on Friday.

The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.

The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
