Motorcyclist injured in crash in Upper Hutt

A motorcyclist has been injured in a collision with a car on Rimutaka Hill Rd in Upper Hutt.

Police were called to the scene of the crash near the intersection of Marchant Rd at 3.43pm.

A police spokeswoman said the motorcyclist had moderate injuries.

A tow truck is being arranged, but motorists are asked to be patient and avoid the area if possible as delays are expected.
