Save A motorcyclist has died in an accident in west Auckland.
A car and a motorbike crashed head-on on State Highway 16 south of Waimauku just before 7am.
The police Serious Crash Unit is in attendance and will be investigating the crash.
State Highway 16 is closed around the crash site
and diversions are in place.
Police are asking all motorists to take an alternative route around the crash scene.
