An 87-year-old man was killed yesterday after being hit by a station wagon while crossing the road on his mobility scooter.
Laurie Nicholson Gould was crossing Selwyn Street, near Trafalgar Street, at about 11.50am when he was hit by the station wagon.
He was taken to Timaru Hospital
