Police shared Grocott’s message today, as the search for Langford enters its seventh week.
Langford, last seen on January 17, is believed to have travelled from Wellington to the Waikato, where his vehicle was found burned out on a Tolley Rd farm in Ngaroma on January 18.
Waikato Police received a number of reported sightings of Langford on Sunday, including State Highway 30, approximately 20 to 25km south of Te Kūiti.
The mother of missing man Travis Langford has issued a statement begging her son to come home.
In a statement today, police confirmed the reported sightings of a man matching Langford’s description on Sunday were not him.
“Police would like to thank the members of the public who contacted us following these reported sightings and encourage anyone who sees a person matching the description of Travis to report that to police.”
Anyone with information that could assist police, is asked to get in touch by calling 105 or online, quoting reference number 250119/4439.
