Michael Stuart Coulter Styant, 41, worked in business development at Perpetual Trust Limited, which was situated in the Pyne Gould Corporation building.
He died when the building collapsed during the earthquake.
Described as a doting husband, and proud dad, he leaves behind his wife Rachel and four children Gabriel, Zachary, Isabella and Alexandra.
