A video has gone viral on the internet that was shot and uploaded by Masterton entertainment promoter Jermaine Kerehi of eels washed into the gutter outside his Jones Place home.
Mr Kerehi has fielded calls from internet news sites around the globe and been interviewed on Kiwi television and radio.
The video has inspired Auckland-based t-shirt maker Mr Vintage to design two shirts as well.
