Massey Uni still divides Palmerston North and Wanganui

Bad blood between Palmerston North and Wanganui should be sorted so the pair can work together in regional harmony, the cities' mayors say.

Palmerston North mayor Mark Bell-Booth said it was "ridiculous" the two cities still fought over who got Massey University 75 years ago.

There was a critical need for a combined approach to development by the cities, he said.
