Man in serious condition in hospital after Wellington assault

A man is in hospital after an assault in Wellington.

A police spokesperson told the Herald officers were called to Taranaki St shortly before 9pm last night, where a person had reportedly been assaulted.

He was taken to hospital in a serious condition. Inquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made as of yet.
