Tauranga business consultant Sam Bailey has applied to put an off-shoot company of Zion Wildlife Gardens into liquidation.
Zion Wildlife Gardens is formerly owned by "Lion Man" Craig Busch.
The off-shoot company is called Earth Crest Limited.
The matter was called in the Tauranga High Court civil registry this morning.
A disputed facts hearing has been set down in the same court on May 21.
