Man has facial injuries after shooting in Mangere park

A man has serious facial injuries after being shot in the face early this morning.

The 20-year-old is in a critical condition in Middlemore Hospital.

Police believed the the man was shot at the park on Windrush Close, Mangere, just before 4.30am.

Police will be examining the scene his morning.
