Man charged over incident at Parliament

A man was denied bail when he appeared in the Wellington District Court yesterday on charges relating to a security alert at Parliament on Thursday.

In successfully seeking name suppression for the defendant, duty solicitor Douglas Ewen said there was reason to believe he was "legally under a disability".
