Man caught speeding 147km/h along Waikato Expressway in wet conditions

Police are unimpressed with the actions of a man caught travelling at 147kmh along the Waikato Expressway this afternoon.
Conditions have deteriorated in the district, with heavy rain falling for the last few hours.
         A Waikato police spokesman said a man was clocked at 147kmh in his RX7 vehicle in
         wet conditions.
        
He was already a suspended driver, but now has a summons to appear in the Hamilton District Court for driving while suspended.
His vehicle was impounded for 28 days and he was issued a $630 fine.
