Man arrested after gun spotted at Beach Haven property

A man is in custody after reports of a gunman on Auckland's North Shore.

A police spokesperson said they received a report just after midday which said a person was carrying a firearm on a Lysander Cres property.

The Armed Response team have attended and have cleared the address.

No injuries have been reported and the police are making inquiries at the scene.

Nearby residents said one end of the street is blocked by police.
