A Wellington man has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of a Kapiti Coast teenager.
Izak Millanta, 17, was found unconscious in a carpark near the Coastlands shopping area in August and died in Wellington Hospital the following day.
Manawanui Rerewhaitarangi Stewart, 25, from Titahi Bay, was charged with his manslaughter.
When he appeared in Porirua District Court this morning he pleaded guilty to the manslaughter charge.
He has been remanded in custody for sentencing in the High Court at Wellington early next year.
