Lotto's glitter cannon suspended

Lotto's Winning Wheel glitter cannon has been temporarily suspended, after a woman tripped and fell on the set last night.

Janice from Whangarei spun the wheel one click too far from the million dollar slot when she became overwhelmed, stepped back and tripped on the set.

Lotteries spokeswoman Karen Jones says Janice was cleared by a doctor, and left just a tad embarrassed about her ordeal.

She says the Lotto set will be reviewed, and the crew won't be firing off the scary glitter cannon for now.
